The Danieli reopened in summer 2026 as a Four Seasons hotel after a restoration led by the French designer Pierre-Yves Rochon. It sits on the Riva degli Schiavoni, a few steps from St Mark’s Square, with the lagoon and San Giorgio Maggiore in front. It reopened with 120 rooms and suites, and more are due when the neighbouring Palazzo Danieli Excelsior is finished in 2027. Terrazza Danieli, the rooftop restaurant, has one of the best views in Venice.
