Florian opened in 1720 under the arcades of the Procuratie Nuove, and its painted, mirrored rooms have barely changed. In warmer months a small orchestra plays in the square. It is famously expensive. When the music is playing, a per-person music charge is added to the bill, so ask before you sit down. Standing at the bar inside costs much less.
