Kilometres of galleries lead to the Raphael Rooms and, finally, the Sistine Chapel. Go early, book a timed ticket on the official site, and don’t try to see everything. On a port day this is the most practical big sight: the cruise train stops at Roma San Pietro, a walk from St Peter’s Square and the museums.
