It is rare to eat this well this close to a monument. Armando Gargioli opened the trattoria in 1961, and his family still runs it: classic Roman cooking and a wine list chosen by Fabiana Gargioli, a sommelier. Booking is online only, and tables go weeks ahead in season. It closes on Saturday evenings and Sundays.
